Laura Roth explores how landscapes transform through human presence, imagination, and material processes. In her artistic practice, photography serves as both image and substance, expanding into spatial installations made with light, metal, and 3D printing. These works trace the shifting boundaries between what we perceive, preserve, and construct as nature, questioning how technologies of recording and archiving shape our understanding of place and time. Roth studied Graphic Design & Photography and works across the intersections of image, space, and material. Her approach combines conceptual research with an experimental use of photographic processes, investigating how landscapes become carriers of memory and transformation.
